Two Teeth!!!!!!!

Seriously....

I am pretty sure someone is going to call child protective services on me! My Poor Tess has so many bumps and bruises on her! Mostly on her face! She has a bruised nose, scratch near her nose and on her chin from who knows what, and now she took a dive into the bottom of my moms bed and bruised her cheek! She looks rough! I keep sending Casey pictures and he keeps asking what on earth I am doing to her!

Tomorrow we are heading back home. It has been a nice break from the city life! The weather has just been amazing! Tessa's wonderful nap schedule has put a damper on some of our plans but we got to do and see almost everything/one that I wanted to.

Sunday we get to see Jessica so we are pretty excited about that!!!!!

My Poor Tessa

Not the cutest picture of her :-( I feel horrible!!!! For now on she is only playing with stuffed animals!!!!! It keeps getting darker and darker! I know she will have a million more bruises but this first big one is so hard!

I am hoping it will be better...not worse...tomorrow morning!

On a side note...My mom is making chocolate covered rice crispy treats tonight and I'm soooo excited!!!! :-)

Mom of the Year

NOT! Maybe WORST mom of the year! Tessa fell face first into one of her toys today! Left a wondeful bruise on the bridge of her nose. She thankfully cried for a quick second then went right back to playing! Hopefully the bruising goes away soon!!!! Poor Tessa!

On a different note...Being home has been great. I didn't realize how much I missed being home. The weather has been amazing! High 60's to low 70's all week so far! I have been having a blast! I haven't taken many pictures though. Ill try to get on that tomorrow! I am sure Tess will look amazing with her new bruised nose look :-( Poor Tess!

Lunch

I love being home! Mom says "do you want a salad for lunch?" I say "sure"...and then I get this salad!!!! Sooooo yummy! :-) I think she needs to come home with me NOW! :-)

Mackinac Island

We are over on Mackinac Island right now! As you can see Tessa is suuuuuper excited! Ha! We got here and came to eat in the park. Tessa ate...I mean played in the grass while we ate some food! After we ate we headed out for a walk and Tessa fell asleep....and is still sleeping! Not many Mac Island pics this time! Maybe next time!!!!!

Greenfield Village Trip!

My parents came down in July for a quick visit! We had so much fun while they were here! Tessa obviously was spoiled rotten and got lots of extra love!

Here are a couple of pictures from our trip to Greenfield Village!

after being awake the entire time we were there...a good 4 hrs...she finally fell asleep on our way back to the car! she was soooo good all day!

OH!!!!  I almost forgot!!!! While we were there we noticed Tessa had two bottom from teeth!!! They were NOT there that morning so they popped through some time throughout the day!!! I have been trying to get a picture of them for weeks now but I just can't get a good one!

I am headed up north next week for an entire week!!!! I can't even tell you how excited I am!!! I will totally have a ton of fun pictures to post when I return!!!!!

My Apologies!

Sorry I haven't updated in such a long time! I really have no excuse...oh wait...yes I do...it's called MOTHERHOOD! Wowzers is it hard! I love every minute of it though!

Tessa is doing fabulous! She is crawling EVERYWHERE...and getting into EVERYTHING! It is so great seeing her learn and experience new stuff everyday! She is also pulling herself up onto things! She still has the cheekiest (is that a word?!) and brightest smile ever! She is constantly saying dada and babbling some nana and I think I heard a mama...but I think I just want to hear it so it might of been something else. I keep telling Casey to remember the only reason she said dada first is because it is soooo easy to say!

I have a ton of pictures to post so I will get to the fun stuff!

this was my attempt to have Tessa hold a sign that says "Happy Birthday Nana" for my mom's birthday on August 8th...next time I will use cardboard!

she was much more interested in eating, ripping, and tearing the paper!

finally I just had to hold onto it...you can see how much she wants that paper!!!

almost every time I put her in here to play she immediately pulls herself up!

yep...still bald! but she totally rocks the no hair look!

it is getting so hard to get good pictures of her! she is all smiles one minute...and then this! still cute though!

I know she is thinking..."hey mom! check this out!"

She is such a happy baby! I am sooo lucky!

yes...that is my 8 1/2 month old standing up to play with her toy! she is growing so fast!

she loves this toy...mostly the piano and the little swirly guy in front of her!

August already!?!

Happy August from Tessa and I! - can't believe its already August! Tessa is growing so fast and accomplishing so many milestones! She now has two bottom teeth poking through (July 25th), can crawl (July 31st), and pulled herself up and leaning against the dishwasher-but then fell on her butt and had a little fit!!!
Whenever I get a spare minute (haha) I will post more pictures of my cutie pie!
