UP BOUND!!!!

All packed up and headed to da up eh :-) I'm so excited!!!! We have a busy week ahead of us though! Lots of visiting with friends and family. Thanksgiving at Grandma's should be fun. I haven't been there the last couple of years because I've been busy having babies :) there should be a lot of family there that I haven't seen in quite a while! ALSO Tessa is turning one next Sunday!!!!!!! We have a party planned for next Saturday! Its going to be a blast!!!!

When I get back I will have a ton of pictures to upload!!!

Less than two weeks...

AND TESSA WILL BE ONE!!!!

2 Steps!!!!

For weeks now I have been standing Tessa up and trying to get her to take a step. She would always just sit right down and start crawling! BUT TODAY (11/7) SHE TOOK 2 STEPS!!! I wasn't able to catch it on video but I did get to snap a couple pictures! My little girl is growing up! Before I know it she will be walking everywhere!!! Eeeek! I am kind of scared of that idea!!!

I love how she looks so determined in this picture!

I am so glad I was able to see her take her first steps!!!!!

Tessa's 1st Halloween!

Tessa was a Tulip Fairy for Halloween! I have been looking at this costume ever since I was pregnant with Alyssa. I think its just the cutest thing ever! I had my doubts this year because it was soooo big on Tessa. It was still pretty big around the neck but I was able to sew a lot of it to fit her better. I brought her into my work for "Boo Day" and then we dressed her up again on Halloween. We didn't go trick-or-treating since she is too young but we did take a TON of pictures! I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do!!!!

11 Months!

Tessa is one month closer to turning 1!!!!! It is crazy to me. This first year is going so fast! I wish it would slow down but then again I am so excited to see her learn and hit milestones! She is such a happy baby, always smiling and rarely crying. She babbles all the time now. I think she will be a talker like her momma :-) My parents came down last weekend! We had so much fun, They haven't seen Tessa since August and she was crawling..but not like she is now!

I don't have much time so I will get right to the important stuff...PICTURES!

 My parent's dog Lacy was SOOO good with Tessa. She would just sit there and let Tessa do whatever she wanted!!!

 Tessa recognized my parents instantly and was so excited to see them! I think us Skyping helps!

 Tessa loved Lacy. I think she liked the fact that when she goes to touch her she doesn't run away like the cats do!

1 more month until Tessa is a year old! Most of the plans are finalized for her birthday party! It is going to be so much fun! Hope you enjoyed the pictures!

10 Months!

Well...over 2 weeks ago she was 10 months!

Better late than never right!

Tessa is so much fun! She is so interactive and always wants to be involved with everything! She is nosy like her mom :-) She is a crawling maniac...and she is FAST! I honestly can't turn my head for a second and she is down the hall and in her bedroom. She has 5 teeth and barely any hair! She babbles a lot saying dadada and nanana all the time, still no mama :-( ...she also says huh? huh? all the time in the CUTEST little high pitched voice! Whenever she gets mad she starts bringing out the gagaga noices...Casey and I are pretty sure those are her swear words! :-) She gets sooo angry and just starts saying Ga GGGGGAAA! I can't help but laugh. We always say...now we are in big trouble when she brings out the Ga's!

She loves chicken, peas, potatoes, and cheerios. She loves cheese and graham crackers too! She only gets baby food from a jar if we are eating something not baby appropriate. She usually just has what we are having for dinner. She also LOVES feeding herself. We are struggling with her hitting the spoon away when we are trying to feed her. Its super frustrating!

She is still a power sleeper! She is down usually between 7:00 and 7:30 and wakes up usually around 6:00ish. She tends to sleep until 7am on the weekends when she doesn't hear me up and moving around already.

We are working really hard with sippy cups and she is finally starting to get it! We are also phasing her away from her pacifier...harding on me than her I think. She rarely gets it now. That is until the other morning when Casey went to get her out of bed and she had a paci in her mouth and one in each hand...I am pretty sure she had them tucked behind her bumber in her crib saving them for a rainy day! :-)

It has also gotten VERY hard to get pictures of her all smiling and looking at the camera...she has turned into her father who HATES his picture taken! Too bad Tessa just has to deal with it! Here are some pictures I have taken over the past couple of weeks!

Soon Tessa will be 11 months old and then she will be a YEAR! I can't believe she is almost 1 year old! Craziness!!!!! Hopefully I will some how find the time to update the blog more often! This little girl just exhausts me! :-)
